- Hitler was average Hans driven by ideas that resonated in German society at the time. For him, as for any ideologue the ends justified the means. There are many Fuhrer wannabes in human society; once in a while someone succeeds. Watch out.

- It gives you the same magical feeling as saying, when in trouble, everything will be okay. Believing gives sense to our existence, compensates for our lack of knowledge, education or intelligence -- especially vis-a-vis of anything more complex than the Holy Book of our choice.
